Ole Chevy

Finally!!!! I've had the ol girl home since December and finally putting pictures on the blog.

This has been a long time coming. I've been working on this project basically since 2004 when I got done building the engine for it. It took a lot of work, and criticizm, (like why are you putting a good motor in that old piece of crap?) Because this is my high school sweetheart. And yes I am pretty sure it's worth it.

Dual batteries, K&N air filter (boo), 6-speed tranny, NP205 t-case, even wired in a wait to start light, and very soon, air conditioning (Yeah). and used all the stock gauges, except for the oil pressure, but replaced it with a manual gauge.

Wheeler Ride

Last weekend me and Collin went for a little ride up through the ranch and up to East Fork. Aparently there has not been any wheelers go on this trail for a couple of years between the trees in the trail and logs over washes that were broke (the ones that your supposed to drive over) it was an interesting ride. here are a few pics.
Looking over God's country
Collin and Captain takin a break after we topped out

One of the trees we had to cut to get through on the trail

The tree that tipped over on the trail

this is where the trail is, but we eventually found another way around

She's Here!!!

It seemed like she would never ever get here, but on July 9th at 3:13 pm Candice joined our little family. She weighed 8 pounds and 8 ounces and was 20 inches long. She is the best baby, she is so easy going and very laid back. She has been alot of fun to have here with us. Collin can't walk by her without stopping to give her a kiss. He loves her alot. He gets kinda mad at me when I let her cry at all. It's fun that he is that protective of her.

A Day At Grandpa's & Grandma's

Collin is always wanting to go somewhere, and lately it is either to Grandpa Brent's and Grandma Jeri's or Grandpa Leon's and Grandma Sally's. Since we live close to my mom and dad, he goes there all the time. I'm bad and don't really ever take pictures of him while we are there. Grandma Sally is always finding something to entertain him. But a couple of weekends ago, Lance and decided to go to his mom and dad's for the day. Collin loves it over there cause everyone lets him boss them around. Especially Uncle Craig!!! Who lets him play his Xbox all the time. We got there and it was so nice out side we went out to play. Lance and Craig decided to hit golf balls at the people running at the park from the back lawn. It was kinda funny to watch. They never hit anyone, but watching them try to find all their golf balls after they hit them was funny.

While Lance and Craig were doing that, Grandpa decided to teach Collin how to play Croquet. It was quite funny to watch as well. He never did quite get the rules, but he did learn how to hit the ball the right way. He had alot of fun "being on Grandpa's team."

After they played Croquet, Collin found a hole in the back yard. So he begged and pleaded for his dad to bury him in it, so of course he did.

What can I say the kid loves DIRT!!

And now for the baby news...I still don't know what we are having. Stuborn little thing! I do have another ultra sound. So hopefully we will find out.

It's Been Awhile...

Well I know its been like 3 or so months since I've even thought about blogging. So first things first. CHRISTMAS. I know its over and most likely forgotten, so I'll keep it short and sweet.

Collin had so much fun this Christmas. I think as they get older, it is so much more fun. He had quite the list for Santa, but we never got it sent to him. He had to keep adding to it every time he saw a new toy. He was kinda sad cause he didn't think that Santa would know what to get him. We assured him SEVERAL times that Santa knows what every one wants. But he wasn't sure. Well, we were sat down for dinner on Christmas Eve and the phone rang. It was Santa for Collin. Collin just about fell off of his chair as he talked to him. It was the first time I have ever seen the boy at a loss for words. It was so cute. He still talks about it when he plays with the toys Santa brought him.

Christmas morning we woke up to snow!!! And Turkeys!!

So all in all it was a Great Christmas..

Now for the BIG news. Most everyone I know already knows this, but I've been told to put it in my Blog anyway, so

WE ARE PREGNANT!!! I'm due July 16th. Its kinda fun cause my sister is due the end of June so we are both really excited. Not to mention how long Lance and I have waited for this. Collin is way excited. He can't decide if he wants a boy or a girl, but he has names picked out for both.

Thanksgiving...

Well Thanksgiving has come and gone. You know its supposed to be a happy time of year, when you get together with friends and family, and it is for the most part. But what I don't get is this; You stay up most of the night making pies and cooking turkey. Then you have to clean up the huge mess you've made, just in time to grab a shower and make it to turkey dinner. And on top of that, everyone wants you to be happy while you are there. I don't know about you, but I have a really hard time being happy and nice when I am that tired.

No but really Thanksgiving is a great time of the year. I love that both sides of our family put forth so much effort to make it work and to show up. I have cousins that come from up north and back east every year to eat with us. So it makes it worth it to stay up all night baking to see them, even if its not for very long.

On Lance's side its always a blast. There are so many kids its fun. You always know that its going to be loud and most of the time, funny. Aunt Melanie makes it so much fun for the kids, its like Christmas comes early for our family. So for those of you that were there, Thanks for the fun. And for those of you that couldn't make it, we'll see ya next year, if we don't run into ya before that.

Next up....CHRISTMAS (my favorite)
